Dragging my feet through this town at night
So drunk the street light burns to bright
I kissed that girl you warned me never to
I always wanted to, I never hated you
And I always fall straight down
You never pick me up, you never pick me up
And I always fall straight down
You never pick me up, you never pick me up
I feel so lost please take me home
Another night spent all alone
I guess I’ll walk its not that hard
In small towns walking drunk will get you far
I feel so lost please take me home
Another night spent all alone
I guess I’ll walk its not that hard
In small towns walking drunk will get you far
It’s not that hard (it’s not that hard)
It’s not that far (it’s not that far)
It’s not that hard (it’s not that hard)
I feel so lost please take me home
(It’s not so hard) it’s not so hard
(It’s not that far) it’s not that far
(It’s not that hard) it’s not that hard
This is a damn fine release. It feels genuine; at times even emotional (in a good way). It's fun and witty while also being pissed off in all the right ways. It's political, critical, and nonconformist. Yet it still manages to feel original in an arguably oversaturated genre. Nicholas Whittemore
