I KNOW IT’S ALL BEEN SAID
I’VE HEARD IT TOO
THE SAME FAMILIAR STORY HOPING TO DRAG US THROUGH
TO AIM HIGH IS TO SOON FALL SHORT
FOREVER FOLLOWED BY THE WORRIES I’VE SET ASIDE
TO FEEL IS TO FEAR FROM WHAT I’VE BEEN TOLD
I KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO SEE THE HOPE JUST DRAIN
AND IT’S EMPTYING AND TERRIFYING
JUST LIKE THE WORLD IS FALLING AWAY FROM YOUR FEET
AND I KNOW IT’S GOING TO PASS
BECAUSE I’VE FAITH IN MYSELF FAITH IN MY DREAMS
I KNOW I’M DOING IT RIGHT
I WILL ALWAYS STRIVE TO BE ABOVE THE LONELY NIGHTS
BECAUSE I’VE SEEN MY FRIENDS WHERE NO ONE’S REACH EXTENDS
I WON’T SUCCUMB TO MY FEARS TO MY DOUBTS
I KNOW WHICH WAY IS OUT
IT’S ALL IN THE SUBTLETIES THE FINER POINTS WE ALL PASS
I STILL FEEL THOSE MOMENTS PULLING AT MY HEELS
DYING DAYS JUST SEEM TO LINGER
BUT I’M FINDING ROOM TO BREATHE
BUT I’M FINDING ROOM TO BREATHE
One of the most fun albums I've listened to in 2020. Catchy as fuck and has some serious good chugging going on. If you're into hardcore just get it. Daniel Nielsen
Revisiting this album today and it is just as powerful and demanding as it was eight years ago. Perfectly pertinent to today's pandemic world and all the other donked up messes facing us. This album reminds us to live... while we may.
To quote from 'Disolve': "Our blood will dry some day. But our bones won't break." grahamco
Pitch-perfect math rock from Kaneohe, Hawaii charges forward on raw, ragged emotion. A treat for fans of Polvo and Pardoner. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 27, 2018
