You needn’t look any further than the collaboration between Israel musician and Useless ID frontman Yotam Ben Horin and Australian singer-songwriter Dan Cribb to grasp the intimate and unique community surrounding the punk rock scene.
Their six-track split EP and upcoming co-headline Australian tour stems from a relationship forged when they toured Japan together with their respective bands in 2013.
Both musicians recorded two original tracks for the release, and a cover; Horin choosing to tackle Jawbreaker and Cribb taking on Alkaline Trio.

lyrics

It happened on May 15th, what started out like a dream
That is just the way this story goes
The last I heard you were pretty close
Seeing you is like seeing a ghost here on the other side of the country

When did my imagination take control?
Leaving me with nothing but the pain
It’s been quite a while but I don’t think you’ve changed
You’re just as I remember you, the same

Well I chose my words carefully and expected you to recognise me
You didn’t know who I am
You passed me by then walked away and left me with this shade of grey here on the other side of the country
Well, how about that night we had in ’92? Where we slow danced to the sounds of Wind Of Change
I never thought this table could be meant for two
I think that I’m in love with you again

Been making way too many phone calls, got in touch with all your friends
No one seems to know or really care I left a note right by your doorstep I don’t know if you’re really living here, on the other side of the country

Well, everyone’s been telling me I’ve gone insane
Then why am I still meddling with the past
It’s better to hold onto something not refrain
Maybe one day you will reply at last

I've been through so much myself
I'm sure you had you're share as well
None of it means anything to me
I hope to see you once again
Before this lifetime meets its end
Here on the other side of the country
