So its come to this, its all faded away
Try to get some sleep I think I’ll be ok
But I’ll stay awake throughout the day
I’ll push on through and find a way
There’s nothing more I need to say
There’s nothing more (there’s nothing more)
There’s nothing more (there’s nothing more)
It’s been a while since you’ve seen me
And how the fuck have you been?
Tried so hard just to forget you
And all the shit we both went through
And you find me, and you find me
And you find me but you can’t get rid of it
(You see through me)
And you find me, and you find me
And you find me but you can’t get rid of it
(You see through me)
Didn’t want to stay here anyway
So I’ll take this road that bends and winds
With it’s cracked and faded lines
You know that these long drives can lead to tired eyes
But I’ll push on through the night
On this road that bends and winds
It’s been a while since you’ve seen me
And how the fuck have you been?
Tried so hard just to forget you
And all the shit we both went through
And you find me, and you find me
And you find me but you can’t get rid of it
(You see through me)
And you find me, and you find me
And you find me but you can’t get rid of it
(You see through me)
This is a damn fine release. It feels genuine; at times even emotional (in a good way). It's fun and witty while also being pissed off in all the right ways. It's political, critical, and nonconformist. Yet it still manages to feel original in an arguably oversaturated genre. Nicholas Whittemore
