Michael F. Melodic hardcore has been inundated as of late with top-shelf melodies and screaming vocals littering the landscape. I love the genre, though I am less enthused as I really listen to some who sound great on the surface. Aussie's SUN HEIGHTS are no such instance. There's more thought, more depth and some of the best vocals in the genre here. Melodic chops, passion and nods to the Revelation Records sound of old, SUN HEIGHTS have defied the odds. Impeccable release. Favorite track: Our Darkest Moments.
